In the Self-Care Seminar, we completed a Self-Care Assessment which covered the following areas: physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, relationship, and professional self-care. I scored highest on psychological and emotional self-care; I think I’m fairly resilient mentally, having been treated for bipolar disorder for years. I’ve been honed to be emotionally connected. Physical and relationship self-care were my lowest average scores. Physically, I’m limited. I always have been. I have always felt challenged in maintaining relationships.
I think my overall work-life balance is okay. I can be more physically active; and I can have more faith in inter-personal relationships. Overall, I’m good.
